Your first appointment includes a private conversation, a free pregnancy test, an ultrasound if it’s the right next step, and options counseling, all at no cost and without insurance.
You deserve to know what to expect. Reaching out is often the hardest part, and not knowing what happens next can make it even harder. This guide walks you through your entire first appointment, so you can walk in feeling prepared.
Booking Your First Appointment
You can call or text us to set up a time that works for you, and we’ll help you find the soonest opening. You can also request an appointment online.
When You Arrive for Your First Appointment
When you arrive, someone from our team will welcome you and take you to a private room to meet with an options counselor. You can share what’s on your mind, ask questions, and tell us what you need from your visit. We’re here to listen and provide you with the support you need.
Confirming Your Pregnancy
If you haven’t already confirmed your pregnancy, we’ll do a free pregnancy test on site during your first appointment. These tests are accurate in most cases, but results can occasionally be affected by timing or certain medications. If something doesn’t match what you’re experiencing, we may recommend testing again.
Your Ultrasound, If It’s the Right Next Step
If it’s the right next step for you, a licensed sonographer will perform a free ultrasound during your first appointment to check how far along the pregnancy is and confirm it’s developing where it should be. Talking Through Your Options
At Problem Pregnancy Center, you can talk openly with an options counselor about what you’re facing. Bring your questions, share your concerns, and take the time you need to understand your options. We’ll listen and help you with your next steps.
What Happens After Your First Appointment
You’ll leave your first appointment with answers to your questions, a clearer understanding of your options, and information to help you decide what to do next. If you need more support after your visit, our team is here for you.
